According to the folks at TorkLift, the # TLA7700L battery box would be considered water resistant, not waterproof, as all batteries need to be able to vent. The don't offer a battery box that's 100% waterproof for that reason. My TorkLift rep tells me that they've received feedback from customers that have used self-stick weatherstripping on the lid of the box to help seal it which works well to keep water away from the wiring connections at the terminal. The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner - 13,500 Btu - White # ACM135 has a power draw of 40 amps at startup and 12.5 amps roughly running. The 15,000 Btu # ACM150 has a power draw of 45 amps at startup and 15 amps running.
